Unusual Victorian silver sovereign case with the coin platform decorated with a young Victoria head and the retaining rim formed as a horse shoe, all correctly hallmarked throughout.

OVERALL CONDITION

generally very good with some slight bumps. Spot of surface solder near the hinge to underside of lid that could be original or possible repair, although nothing obvious.

MINOR FAULTS

oddly scratched surface to underside of lid. I suspect that this has been caused by a tool used to correct some bumps in the past.
