| CONDITION | very good, the engraved decoration to the perimeter of the field has softened, gentle leg top impressions to rim, three little bumps/digs to the plain field. The cartouche has had the original cursive 'B' monogram filled. This is much better than erasure and a technically more difficult and expensive process indicating that this piece has always been highly prized. Immediately after a fresh professional polish and under high powered photographic lights the 'B' can just be seen but under normal circumstances you will struggle. |
