| DESCRIPTION | Scarce set of six large Georgian silver handled Old English Double Thread & Shell pattern table knives with a crest engraving to one side and long, tapering old steel blades. The traditional pitch loaded handles should not be cleaned in a dishwasher or very hot water. Beware, old steel will take and hold a much sharper edge than modern stainless steel. I think these are just about right as they are at the moment. |
