DESCRIPTION | Antique English George II solid sterling silver one half pint (300ml) baluster mug with a flying leaf capped scrolling handle and ring turned pedestal foot. An extraordinary survivor to have avoided both a christening presentation engraving and additional Victorian decoration. No erasures and beautifully clear hallmarks to base. Black blobs are distorted reflections of my camera's lens. |
