thick silver throughout with no engravings. To the main outer body, about ½" up from the junction with the tube section there is a ½" long thread of silver solder seen more clearly from the inside. Not part of the construction
and an odd place for a repair especially since all the surrounding silver is thick so I suspect that it is to correct a flaw such as a gas bubble in the original casting of the metal at the ingot stage, shown in the first image to the far right of the
body at about one o'clock. |
