Very good quality pair of early George II silver cauldron salts with gilded interiors and rope twist rims. One is faintly crested. The legs are thick and strurdy.

OVERALL CONDITION

good used, the silver is nice and thick, a good pair of robust salts for daily use. Below the later gilding are some surface marks and scratches but this later gilding makes them now safe for food use and will prevent the salt corroding the silver.
