OVERALL CONDITION |
good and sturdy, the top is still an excellent fit although the internal rim is out of round and the maker's mark here is rubbed. The engraved decoration is also a bit rubbed towards the finial. |
FAULTS |
several old and well executed repairs: significant silver solder added inside the top below the finial to add strength in this area, general little body bumps with repairs around upper rim and girdle, probably erased although no thin spots, some work below the stem to the base most likely to ease past compression |
