It is a rare treat to successfully identify the owner of a piece of antique silver but in this instance with the obvious internet search we can not only read her life story but have images too. Is this the same Sophie Weisse I hear you murmur? A Victorian Scottish piece that I bought near Guilford, Surrey, England. It would be too weird for it not be this Sophie's. |
