DESCRIPTION | High quality Victorian solid silver tea pot and sugar bowl on four bracket and paw feet and engraved 'C.A' to one side. Unusually the pot body was made in the traditional way of hand raising from one piece of metal. This is evident by there being only one vertical seam and the small oval piece inserted to form the base. Most pots by this date were made in two halves. Tea pot holds one pint or 600ml. and is a perfect pourer, completely drip free. |
