| DESCRIPTION | Set of twelve useful vintage English loaded sterling silver handled knives with stainless steel blades comprising of six dinner knives and six dessert knives. We call them dessert knives but they are normally used for starters and cheese. The pattern is unknown to me but is an interesting one. The shape will fit in with Old English pattern and King's. The Ribbon & Thread edge decoration will fit with any thread decorated patterns and the terminal decoration will fit well with Shell or Husk decorated pieces. A very versatile set of knives indeed. The joints are soldered so should be dishwasher safe. |
