OVERALL CONDITION |
excellent, no repairs or erasures. The hallmarks are exceptionally clear, well struck and only the date letter is part rubbed. The bowl is particularly good. I have not cleaned this spoon but I suspect that much of the original patination exists below the grime with just rubbing to the expected high points. A completely original spoon, only lightly used and an extraordinary survivor. I cannot recommend this spoon for daily use, it is too good. |
FAULTS |
centre soft bowl bump and little light scratch. |
