DESCRIPTION Georgian silver punch ladle inset with a 1758 George II silver shilling. The twisted baleen handle is split centrally and has a silver end terminal cap. Embossed and engraved vine decoration to the bowl and the rococo cartouche has a monogram engraving.

DATE or HALLMARK not marked but probably around 1758 as the style of the decoration fits this date and the coin shows little wear so has not been circulated for long.
