CONDITION | good, clear hallmarks and correctly marked to both base and top, no engraving but probable well executed erasure simply because casters of this period and style were almost always engraved with a crest or monogram, slight girdle bumpage, small hole where the pierced side of the top meets the cap that is due to the original solder not fully flooding the joint and this has now been exposed by rubbing, some rubbing to the engraved decoration of the pull-off top |
